Logo and branding design for local coffeehouse that incorporates elements of simplicity and representation of the lone star state.
Dallas Coffeehouse was a personal project I worked on over the Winter Break to improve my graphic design skills. Using Fakeclients, I designed a logo for the hypothetical Dallas Coffeehouse. I wanted to keep it simple and emulate the logos you see on coffeeshops while providing a unique spin.
Although my first design iterations involved using cursive font, I decide to change it to be more blocky as I found that it was easier to read the logo as oppose to the cursive font. I also created a coffee cup to add more personality to the brand, and I added a star on top to represent the lone star state.
After putting the logo together I uploaded it to Fakeclients to positive feedback and review. It was a fun project for me, and I'm glad I was able to use the break to be productive.
