Website redesign for a local pizza chain.
I (alongside Anthony N., Antonio G., Andrew B., and Sean S.) redesigned the Gepetto's Pizza Website for our Web Design class. The project involved creating a new website or redesigning another one, and we redesigned the local pizza chain's site. While mostly functional, the old website was starting to show its age. We first started by analyzing the website to see what we could redesign. From there, we assigned each other different roles and worked from the ground up. I worked on embedding the map on the website and aided with adding responsiveness to the delivery and checkout pages. I also checked the entire project and tested the site and responsiveness to ensure it functions properly.
I used HTML to embed the map and CSS to ensure it would stay relative to its positioning. In addition, I used CSS to make sure the delivery and checkout pages were responsive.
We presented the project with favorable results, and although we did receive feedback on how to improve the site, we were commended on how much of an improvement the new site is compared to the old one.
