Chevron GO!

Mobile App Design

Environmentally friendly mobile app created to help and incentivize Chevron users conserve gas and energy.

I (alongside Jonathan F., Theoniesha T., Christina R., Anthony C., and Katherine M.) created this app for the UH Creative Jam. For the January 2023 hackathon, sponsored by Adobe and Chevron, I was assigned to a group and instructed to create a hypothetical Chevron mobile app. I designed the logo while providing feedback and helping to develop the mobile app.

The main point of the Chevron GO! app was to help Chevron customers conserve gas, and give them an incentive to save gas and find efficient ways to save the environment. Each time they would conserve gas, they would receive points and rewards and be encouraged to continue their conservation efforts. This is emphasized with the leaf on top of the logo, alongside making the recycle sign the O.

Although we did not win the hackathon, I still had a lot of fun working with a team on the app. I learned a lot of valuable skills from the hackathon and look forward to attending more like this in the future.
